Results are presented from the microvertebrates analysis of the archaeological site
Arroyo Malo 3, located in Southern Mendoza. Different species were identified throughout the cultural sequence begining, 8,900 years
BP. Correlations between the different microvertebrate species and Holocene climatic shifts are made. The oscilating presence of
Andalgalomys and Lestodelphys at different intervals seen to indicate a regional Holocene climatic
 patern.
